We are an independent, not-for-profit organization, widely respected for our neutrality and trustworthiness.

ETSI publishes between 2,000 and 2,500 standards every year. Since our establishment in 1988, we have produced over 30,000. These include the standards that enable key global technologies such as GSM™, 3G, 4G, DECT™, smart cards and many more standards success stories.

3GPP - 3rd Generation Partnership Project (GSMA Security Group, Lawful Interception 3GPP, Security & IdM, Architecture & Location)

The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) is the collaboration between groups of telecommunications associations, known as the Organizational Partners. The initial scope of 3GPP was to make a globally applicable third-generation (3G) mobile phone system specification based on evolved Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) specifications within the scope of the International Mobile Telecommunications-2000 project of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The 3GPP support team (also known as the “Mobile Competence Centre”) is located at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) headquarters in Sophia-Antipolis (France).

CCA - Competitive Carriers Association

WISPA – Wireless Internet Service Providers Association

WISPA is a 501.c6 advocacy organization representing its membership and other companies who are part of the industry ecosystem. The Association promotes the development, advancement and unification of the wireless Internet service provider industry.

WISPA has over 800 members consisting of wireless Internet service providers, municipal wireless internet providers, electric and telephone cooperative wireless Internet providers, equipment manufacturers, service vendors and other interested parties. These members support the industry, which delivers broadband Internet to over 3 million users via 3000+ Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that serve both residential and business customers, often in exclusively rural areas.

ITSPA – Internet Telephony Services Providers’ Association

We are ITSPA – the Internet Telephony Services Providers’ Association – the voice of the next generation communications industry. We are a UK membership-led organisation that represents companies who offer business and residential customers voice services (VoIP) over data networks as well as other “over the top” applications including instant messaging and video. The membership is a mixture of network operators, service providers, resellers, suppliers and consultants involved in this increasingly divergent industry.

ISPA - The Internet Services Providers’ Association

The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) is the UK’s Trade Association for providers of internet services.
